It's a fact as of this morning!!! My buddy just bought a bone stock '02 GT and I spanked him, even one-wheel-peeling up through 3rd gear
:whip2::whip2::whip2:

Sure wish I had a FRPP differential...

::Edit:: yes his GT is stick.

If your car is really runniing a 15.0 second 1/4 (which is dam good), you can beat a GT if the guy is a ***** or a chick. Seriously, I have seen plenty a GT at the track run 14.7 or higher ....much higher with someone afraid to drive the car. Which would make it a drivers race with you. 15.0 is not far from a 14.7.

Yourbuddy has two major handicaps right now:

1 - The car is new and he is afraid

2 - The car is a stick. If you are afraid or lack experience, a stick is more of a hinderance than a help.

Id'e say keep beating on him while you can, eventually he should start pullking on you.

I'll give you credit on the 15 flat, thats very nice for a v6. Come race my GT though and we will see how you compare.

I don't even believe that you trapped at 95mph with just the mods you have. In any event, your 15.00 is still a whole second slower than a GT of the same generation, so I don't know where you're getting the whole GT killer ego.

We have a nice ~1/4 mile strip around the corner from my house, I'll shoot a vid. I will admit though, he's a horrible driver

But hey don't forget, that's with no traction heh, I peeled through most of first and second... it's them skinny tires I got in the back...

P.S. I didn't mean for this to turn into a bragging thread... just beat my friends GT and i'm quite happy about it . Let me celebrate! I'm quite sure I'd have no chance against most of the 99+ gt's here cuz most of you are seasoned drivers... Honestly my cars still a snail! Just give me time that venom kit will be coming soon.

P.S.S. Thanks Tay, yellow '04 cobras are the best of the best in my opinion... I crap myself when I see them on the road! Right up there with the mystichromes.

If you have one tire corner fire up through third...I don't see how you could possibly run a 15 flat or beat your friends GT. That dude must shift like a old man or his car is not runnin right. :violent5:

You drop that Venom in your car and you will be blowing away GT's all day long (until you run out of juice).

Sweet ride. Its done up nice.
edit- what shifter is that? Is that the same FRPP one from MT? I was thinking about getting one for my GT and you have the same dark charcol interior I have, but it seems to be off color a little bit.

is it really necessary to call it a GT killer?...im not trying to rain on your parade, but really, let's say i raced a ferrari 360 modena and when we raced, his engine blew up. Does that make me a ferrari killer?

o well, i hope you're just playing around or something, because based on those mods, automatics will beat you, unless the people driving them has a heart-attack and dies

to piggy back on this statement. most automaitcs arent that slow. im still tryin to get that 13.4 im was so closebut the season had to end. now i should be at 13.2 or 13.1 got some better tires on my 17's and will be getting a tune here in the next week or so.

If all you have are the mods in your sig, I don't see how you can beat a stock auto GT. :confused2
15.00 just won't cut it

Nice car, but a GT killer it is not, you beat the driver, not he car. Why don't you two switch cars and see if he can beat you in your GT killer Or better yet, I will come over there, drive his car. Give me two seconds and see if you can still read the license plate

I'm going to have to agree with every other GT thats posted about a sixer not running past thier GT. But lets keep in mind that it takes one cobra to come in here and put us in our place. To each his own and the worst part about modding a car is that their will ALWAYS be someone faster!

hah..we dont have to worry about a cobra coming and putting us in our place...

the reason is b/c we dont go around calling our car the cobra killler (or any car that we know that we cant beat)
