Default First step in Project:Y2K Pace Car

I had a guy paint my factory hood over the weekend. I outlined the blackened area with an orange stripe.

I think i took the pictures in the wrong setting or something. I will try again on my next off day.

Wow. I think you pulled that off. I wonder if you could incorporate that orange stripe on the rims/tires somehow.

I'm glad you live in Michigan (probably never see ya) cause I'm doing the same thing to my black 2000, only the colors will be reversed and the pinstripe will be red/maroon.

But I'm glad you got yours done first, brcause, now I know it'll look good...

What color is the area where the hood scoop is going to be?

I missed that. That is perfect then. The car sort-of looks a little Foose-ish this way. I love that guy. He could paint dog crap and make it look tasty. (I better not see that line in anyone's sig, or I will ban your ****) - LOL

Your car looks really good. I have the same color with the same black on the hood minus the orange stripe. Could you post a pic of the side. I really want to see how it looks with the black rims and what not.

The car is 2000 GT Black. I'v got a stock 02-04 hood scoop on it already. I'm going to paint the hood exactly the same pattern as you did, only where your's is black my will be silver (satin, not gloss), and where yours is silver mine will be black and where yours has the orange pinstripe, mine will have a red/maroon pinstripe. The diff will be I'm going to carry the pinstripes into the front of the grill opening ( I have the grill delete).
