Those wheels look real good. A big improvement from those silver bullitts, BUT. They don't look like they got alot of meat hanging on to the rims. I'm sure they are stronger than they look. Don't you think chrome bullitts would look as good? Just asking because I want new rims and I had a bad experience with keystone rims back in the 70's. They broke apart after a wreck I was in. Those rims kinda have the same spoke contact with the rim.

Probably not an issue but I guess they are as strong as any other rim on the market today. I would hope so anyway. but then again my buddy was driving. ran off the road and we hit some trees at 75 MPH. Woulda busted up any rim I guess

 

Yeah...I didn't really think about it...the FR500 has smaller spokes but there's twice as many...who knows what would happen in an accident...If I get into an accident the only thing I want to be strong is the metal around me, I can buy new rims. On your car the chrome Bullits look good but I also like black on some cars.

I don't know what it is about those wheels but none really grab my attention. They do look good on your car though. Better than the bullitts.

 

Thanks...I was going to get Silver but then a Member from a local group posted these for sale I got em...He sold his GT and got a Sonic Blue Cobra and kept the Cobra rims...lucky for me

Now its time for the cobra 13" front break conversion kit...and a pair of rear slotted-cross drilled rotors to add to the spiffyness.

 

I have been looking into those cause now it's so much more noticeable...I'm working 12 hour days for a while so hopefully I'll have them in a few weeks.

 

Dont waste your money on those. You have a street car, not a track/strip car. They will do nothing but eat your brakes away.

 

Good point...I might just change the color of the caliper...I don't know if a chrome caliper would look good, or just some other color, it's just that the caliper stands out so much more now. What color do you think would look good with our cars.
