So i sold the Stang and got something new. I got a 2011 Challenger R/T with 8k miles on it.

 

No V8

Looks good though. Would look pretty badass lowered and on some rims.

 

I see a hemi badge on the hood vent...Just seems as though he got ripped off on the wheels. Change the wheels out and take the decal off and it will look pretty mean.

 

My bad, thought the R/Ts were V6. Congrats then, should be a fun ballsy car to drive.

 

How does it feel? I see one drive by my house everyday and it has the deepest exhaust note ever.

 

I think the R/T's have a 5.7 V8

 

Yeah it has a 5.7 Hemi V8! Love it so far. The wheels are the stock 18s already has 3.73 gears as well. Rides great and is freaking awesome to finally have a V8!!!!!!!!

 

Well, it might be a half second or so faster than your V6 was. lol

How does it feel to have made the upgrade now?

I jumped from a 3.8 to a Mach 1, and even though they are outdated now and will get destroyed by one of the new 5.0's, it still feels great to join the V8 family. I was actually going to get an 03 cobra... but I opted for the lower monthly payment of the Mach due to college. I love new-edge stangs... but think I may abandon my idea of a terminator later in life, for a black corvette.

 

It feels great. Shoulda done it sooner! What sucks though is Dodge has not released the codes yet so the 2011-2012s cant use a tuner. So i cant get the most out of anything i decide to do to it.

 

except for exhaust. For me, just the awesome loud V8 sound would be "getting the most". hp gains are just a bonus. haha
