Default I cut a Cobra hood to clear my intake pics inside

Well since I decided to make the car more functional I went ahead and got a stock Cobra hood and cut out the top for clearance. I still have to move battery to rear, install new flexible radiator hose and mount the filter right on the D1 head. Clean up wires and change to e85. I am going to fiberglass around the intake and pipe as it rains too much here to have it open like that.

That looks absolutely sick. It a shame you have to cover it.

Only other thing I could do is make a cover that is removable.

No 1 has done it with this setup plus it makes the car look lower and better visibility.

I never really noticed how big of a Cowl hood you had it before until just now when I looked at your sig picture, I bet thats like night and day driving...

I for see some new stripes being layed down once again in your future... was it hard doing the cut out, I have seen a few over the years similar to that, dont think it was on the factory Cobra hood though!
