i recently downloaded "my tracks" by google for my android phone. guess what it does? yeah, it records via gps your location and maps it via, you guessed it, google maps.

here's one of the trails a friend of mine and myself took today:
a) - we were going down the hill and my friend decides to cut the intersection to keep speed for the next hill. needless to say, going off the 5+ inches of black top, over a ditch and then onto rough terrain @20mph wasn't too fun. i wiped out.
b) after climbing a hill we decided to get our $5 worth and cut some grass for them. was awesome because there were several dips and jump like areas going down.


i'll be sure to keep this updated with the trails i take throughout the summer. feel free to add.

Cool man. I`ve been mountain biking for about 18 years. Your thread just prompted me to go through about 200 old MTB photos form over the years. I kinda wondered if you`d noticed my avatar.

only after some googling. i'm on my 2nd year of "actually mountain biking" but i've been riding bikes in generally for, well, a long time. my friend got me into the sport last year.
