I wish I was a better photographer, these pictures are doing no justice for how the car looked that day. I clay bar'd the paint and went through a whole Meguiar's Mirror Glaze system, about six steps. I took these about two days after the torque arm install.

She look's bad ***! I love how the hood pins blend in so nicely, and the stance is perfect. The only thing negative I could say is the rims, I'm not hating on them it's just everything else is blacked out. The grey kinda sticks out a lot more, but still I love your.

Thanks, at least they are just my winter rims. I don't mind the color so much I wish the rears were 10.5" wide though. They are easy to keep clean in the winter months.

Are those the stock mirrors? I can't tell from the picture. But if you haven't yet, I think your next appearance mod should definetly be '03 Cobra painted mirrors. I know your mirros already match, but the Cobra ones would shine more.

If you already have the Cobra ones, then never mind. lol. Your car looks awesome.

I love black cars and trucks, I've had a couple in the pass. When thier cleaned up and polished you can't beat em. Car looks GOOD!

Now for the real truth, how does it look on your end? Was that kit worth all the effort? I've heard good and not so good about that mirror kit.

I've almost bought some cobra mirrors in the past but always found something else to spend the $300 on. I'd like to get some one day if I find some for a good price. I should have bought a set I saw a couple of years ago that were already black for $250.

The Mequiar's Mirror Glaze line is great. I use a clay bar, No. 9 swirl remover, No. 6 cleaner wax, No. 26 Hi-tech Yellow wax, A glaze that I don't know the number of, and the No 21 Synthetic sealant 2.0, and thier quick detailer to finish it all off. It really makes the car look perfect even up close if you take the time to do it all. There is probably better products out there but for the price, about $10-15 per product it's not too bad. I think it's worth the effort and if you do a good job, water will bead for 3-6 months depending on if it's winter or summer and such.

I really like the look of them. I got mine several years ago when they were a little cheaper and easier to get. Got two long and one of the short parts off Ebay, already painted black for around $100 and then called Tousley Ford for the last short piece. They had it in stock already painted for about $60. So I got mine pretty cheap for less than $200 total. I really like the smooth lines of them. There are a couple of things I want to do to the exterior of the car, 99/01 Cobra bumper, 03/04 Cobra mirrors, a Steeda wing, and paint the sides of the hood black. Then I'm done.

I've thought about the 99/01 Cobra bumper myself, but the theme of my car is red and black, so I know if I got one I would be tempted to put the chin spoiler on it, and I know they don't fit flush. But your car looks great man.
