I don't plan on getting this but I thought it was pretty cool.

I added a poll as there are mixed opinions.

It looks sad.. it's the 2005 conversion kit for 99-04 mustangs. Looks horrible.

i like it....very cool. the front end seems a lil flat but the project itself is awesome... I like the combination of the 2 Mustangs.

I actually REALLY like it. The problem that I have with it is that it is a wanna-be 2005 kit. 'Course that's comming froma guy with a GT with a Roush 380R bod kit. So, I guess I am a hippocrit.

Like I said, I love the looks of that thing.

There should be a law preventing this. If you want an O5, get an 05 Mustang.

Wouldn't it be easier to buy an 05 instead of trying to fit a potentially crappy body kit? Still haven't gotten used to the new body style, but I don't think I'll ever like it as much as 99-04 style.

I have to agree on that. The 99-04 style is what made me switch from GM.

I like it. It takes the features from the 05 that i think are cool and puts it on a 99-04 stang which is a nice body style making a sweet *** car. The 05 has alot of body features that suck and body kits on a car i think are always cool cause it makes your car soo much different.

i love the back bumper and the trunk with the relocated license plate, the side skirts are ok. but they're something about the front end i dont like. but i never cared for the production model 05. the concept was badass but the production model looked weak. i agree with above, about the 99-04 body style being the best yet.

The reason I thought it was cool was because basically the only thing I care for on the 05 is the front and the rear is ok but I hate the sides. I like the sides of 99-04 better so it just kind of took all the aspects I like and mixed them with the 99. It looks a lot better without that black stripe on the hood. I think it makes it look weird. Oh well.

Giving it the 05 look and putting verticle doors on it is just really bad taste.
The Headlights and grille lights somehow look cheaper than on an 05. I think they should sell the rear and sideskirts seperately.

Don't like the way it looks. Looks like an experiment gone bad!! I bought my 99 for the sinister look in the front.
I think if I wanted the 05 look, I'd have to break down and buy the whole car and not just the front.

I like the front bumper but I dont like the way they make it look all ricey with the ground effects, I would buy a front bumper like that if it didnt have the plastic hanging off the bottom of it.

I like it. But I wouldn't get it cause I don't want to change my 04 look. I really think thats what the 05 stang should look like. 05 stangs are kinda big and bulky looking. they didn't really need to revamp the whole dam chassis and everything else.. IMHO

Default Why?

Since there will soon be about a million cars on the road that actually ARE S197 (ie, 2005-to-whenever-they-change-the-body) cars, why would anyone sped thousands of dollars to change their newedge car into a clone?

My choice would be to pickup a used (preferably mildly wrecked) 05 GT and put the new CDC kit on her that looks exactly like the original showcar design.

Cost about the same, and you'd have the car that Ford should have built in the first place.
