Tight ass pictures! And I love the camera mount where did you get that from? I've been looking for something like that for a long time.
|
Thanks fellas!
Its the GoPro Motorsports kit. Comes with a suction cup mount (impossible to pull of when locked on a clean surface), the camera (which shoots full 1080p/720p/and can take pictures every few seconds), and a plethora of different mounts. Its a must for anyone who wants some badass looking video and doesn't want to fashion something to hold a regular camcorder. I have the video too, but I need to get it edited first and then I'll post a link on here for it. :D |
wow awesome

About time you showed this damn car off lol. Looks insane, what camera did you use to shoot these?
|
Looking good, but I've never understood why people put big ol tachs in their car when they already have one. Guess it's just me or something, but to each their own.

These were all taken with a mixture of a Nikon D50 and a Canon T2i (buddy's camera)

In case you can't tell it has a shift light on it too, so it does actually do something other than just being gigantic lol. |

I welded up a bigger intercooler reservoir, but have yet to put it in so nothing really. Hoping the family pitches in for some Christmas money and I can get some coilovers...but i doubt it. |
Take a razorblade and lift a corner of the sticker and peel away, a small needle nose pliers would work great to minimize contact to the paint from the razorblade.

Use a hair dryer instead and heat it up,it will peel right off and no chance of a scratch. Sweet pics! |

I tried the hairdryer method when I took the GT and Ford emblem off of the trunk lid. It didn't work so good. Maybe it was my lack of patience.

Goo-Gone is your friend!

Cody, you may not even need a hair dryer for the sticker. Park the car in a sunny/warm place. Use your fingernail to lift up a corner of the sticker and just peel it until it comes off.
For the emblems, I used fishing line and a hair dryer and I still had trouble. The adhesive they use is hardcore. Just heat up the adhesive with the hair dryer, tie some fishing line around a pen. One end around one pen and use it to "saw" through the adhesive. Goo Gone works well with removing the leftover adhesive. 99MustangGT, please don't even give advice about removing emblems/stickers again. Anyone that takes a razorblade or pliers anywhere close to their beloved car just to remove a sticker should be slammed around like a screaming baby. |

Just remember there are aligning pins that will keep you from moving forward so just pull back and THEN use your fingers to pry the rest of the emblem off. |
beautiful really nice ride. i hope to own a cobra one day
|
very nice man, I didn't know you upgraded from the GT. so what all is done to this one? How do you like it in comparison?

But thanks. As it sits right now its just a ported eaton, 2.8 upper, 4.10 gears (brutal with 500rwhp), exhaust, and a lot of cooling mods sitting on my bench lol. The last dyno I had was 504rwhp and 496rwtq. Does pretty well for me doing the port myself. I plan on turning this into the track car now, and then whatever I get as my new DD will be my year-round car. But once the '65 gets sold and if I sell the GT then it'll be getting some love from Maximum Motorsports this winter. |
