Another new car
I don't post here much anymore, but figured I would give you guys an update. I traded the 350z in, it was a fun car and I enjoyed it but it had some problems that I wasn't going to pay to get fixed.
I got a 2002 SS Camaro. Mint, perfect, immaculate, pristine, you name it. 6 speed, 30k miles, LS1. All stock I believe except for a dumped exhaust. It was a California car, extremely clean and well kept. Like new condition. Gonna switch out the cloth seats for some leather.
Haven't gotten many pictures yet, here's a couple more in the for sale ad. http://djautosales.fourstatesauto.co...ehicle_id=3254

I could see saying that for an SVT Focus or Mazdaspeed 3 or something, but a 350Z gets pretty shitty gas mileage and a Camaro is definitely right there with it.

Always a warm welcome back on MB lol.

My 350z got awesome gas mileage I don't know what you're talking about. And you have to remember my Mach was lowered with 18 inch wheels, I was very limited on the roads and parking lots I could go on, which left me borrowing my parents cars a lot. They got new cars and decided not to let me drive them anymore. It had 4:10 gears and was fully modded and was impossible to daily drive. The SS is all stock, stock springs it can go on any road and anywhere I need it to, it could even make it down a dirt road but I won't do those. It gets pretty decent highway mileage, 6th gear going 85 is at 1900rpms. Obviously a 5.7 V8 isn't going to do good in the city but i can make it affordable since it's a standard. The Camaro is also cheaper insurance.

you trader, getting a camaro. just kidding i am working on an 87 myself. don't know your history but why didn't you keep your 2004 torch red v6 as your daily driver and keep your mach as the toy.
i want my camaro project to mover quicker just because i drive the v6 mustang right now and i want to be driving the 350 v8 that is going in there. i am still loving mustangs more than camaros right now but idk, it may change once i get done with it. it should be a really nice third gen when it is done. but then after it is done and i can drive it regularly my 87 fox that is sitting in the driveway is going to get started. should be putting a 5.0 in it so my mustang love might keep on growing

I daily drive a fully built GT that makes 600hp...blown on 18's and lowered...its not that expensive...yeah I pay 70 bucks a week on gas, but I manage and I'm not rich by any means... I am sure you would of enjoyed the Mach alot more. I know it would of recieved alot more looks than the camaro.

No offence dude but you keep down grading to slightly older cars and even mint the interior in those camaros is as crappy as it gets.
the 350z looks so much better
and if you can't pay to fix it then you can't really afford it

3 owner 80k mile 350z that had been wrecked, broken abs, traction control, wheel bearing, rack and pinion vs a 1 owner SS 30k miles clean car fax California car...no offense to you but you're really a dumbass for thinking that's a downgrade. If you're wondering I didn't wreck the Z, it was wrecked in 2006 come to find out and Obama-rigged back together. It wasn't worth fixing all of that.

Lazerred the Mach has been gone almost a year now. I don't know how you live your life but I personally don't live in regret for years just for getting rid of a car. Yes I test drove the Z, everything was in place when I got it, no abs or tcs light, no check engine light everything was fine on it, it wasn't fixed properly though so it was just a matter of time until it all quit again. I loved the Mach 1 but it wasn't for me, thats a car the belongs to sit in a garage and only be driven a couple times a month. That's the way the 2 owners before me kept it, I however needed a daily driver. I don't even have a garage at my house. I've had the SS a week and have been able to take it on about 70% more of the roads in my town that the Mach couldn't have gone. The SS is 100 times more driveable. I have the rest of my life to get another car like that when I can afford to keep it in a garage and only drive it when I want to.

Damn, ya'll sound like a bunch of bickering little girls in here.
All I can say is at least you got another "muscle" car, but damn those f'ing cat-fishes are ooooogly.
I just don't understand why you didn't put some c-springs on the Mach.. I mean, if that was the only real issue with the car, why get rid of it? I think maybe you mentioned something about $$ issues too though, so that's understandable.

Whatever, it's your life your money, but what I don't get is you saying that the Mach had to sit in the garage and only be driven a few times a month. Why??? It doesn't have to sit in the garage if you take the keys out, put it in the ignition and start it up and drive it away. I don't get people sometimes. If I had a lambo or ferrari, I'd be driving that **** almost everyday. Don't buy a car if you can't afford to fix and maintain it. Why spend all that money just to have it sit. If I remember, you are still fairly young. I was still driving my supercharged mustang daily to work which was about 70 miles roundtrip a day.

I drove that Mach and you would NOT want it as a DD like he has said. It was setup for the track and was a bitch to drive. It sat way too low and the cam was so extreme it made it hard to drive around town. Yes,it was a damn nice car but was not something for a DD.

I see whats happened to him and I feel really bad for him because of it.
That stealership made a **** ton of money off of that mach, and he couldve had it himself and got him a nice low mile 05 06 GTO. That's where its at in terms of DD and performance, and luxury mixed.
But either way, he ended up with a nice low mile camaro, which is basically the same stuff as an 04 gto, I think it'll last him a long time!

You drive a v6 Mustang and I drive an SS Camaro, you have no reason to feel bad for me. Lance explained it good, I'm 19 I don't need a track car it doesn't get any simpler than that.

Dude you've been through more cars than I have and I'm almost 10 years older. Question, if you didn't need a track car being so young, why'd you buy one?

Question: have you ever had to pay a single penny for any of my cars? I can have as many ****** cars as I want you can't change a damn thing about that. Do you realize that the Mach 1 is GONE? I no longer own it. I traded it in. I no longer have a set of keys, the title isn't in my name, it's not under my insurance, I don't make payments on it, I don't even know where the **** it is right now. It's completely ******* irrelevant to keep posting as if I still owned the car, because I don't. You're wasting your ****** time telling me not to get rid of the car that I did almost a year ago now. I haven't ever tried to start **** with you or talked **** on your car. Get the **** out of my post if that's all you intend to do.
