Default New Bumper and Headlights

Cervini's gets an A for everything in my book. Everything fit perfectly, feels great, and looks great. Fantastic quality. Oh and the headlights look good, too :P

Now the only thing left to finish the front up is to get my damn stripe on that hood and fogs. Should be soon. I'm thinking about finishing the Cobra R look, but I'm not so sure.

So what does everyone think?

Not a fan of the cobra r but not bad. Needs some wheels and springs and it will look great.

Yeah definitely. Sucks being so young and not having a lot of money.

To be honest, I think it looks like *** as is. To pull off that bumper, you kinda need the whole look. It just does not match the rest of the car. If it didn't have the splitter, then it would be fine.

be very very very careful is all I got to say! ( going into driveways, speed bumps, ect.... )

Yeah I'm not crazy about the shovel look either, now I like the 99-2000 OEM Cobra Bumper....

Those wheels really need to go for sure, money is tight when you are young...but when you are older its even worse trust me!

I don't like it the least bit. I don't even like them on an actual Cobra R.

But if you like it, that's all that matters. Like Krazypony said, make sure you're careful.

Haha thanks for the honesty, didn't expect many people to like it. I'm being careful, so far no scrapes!

It will look good with some wheels and springs.

Quick FREE mod: Get rid of the MUSTANG windshield decal, the side stripes and the door bumper, things.

Wow, that doesn't look too bad. I just got my headlights in too, same ones as you have.

How much of a difference is the space between your bumper to the ground and your side skirt to the ground?

Well technically a Cobra R has every V6 part with that bumper added on, with side exhaust, a tall wing, and different wheels.

Let me break it down for your poor little self.

The title of the thread says new bumper.

Blaze added a new front bumper.

I said Cobras have THAT bumper and the rest v6 parts.

And that's true.

Giant wing, side exhaust, cobra r rims, and cowl hoods are not V6 parts...

Let me specify, the Mustang Cobra R has:
-The well noticeable Cobra R wing
-v6 rear bumper
-v6 side skirts
-v6 side scoops
-Cobra R bumper/splitter or a one piecer
-Cobra R hood
-SVT Cobra tail lights
-Side exhaust
-Cobra R rims (17's)
-Eibach spring

*When I say "v6 (body part)" I mean that they come standard on the v6 models.

For some reason, the pictures in the article below make it appear as if the bumper with the splitter is even with the side skirts, when the pictures of BLazE's bumper, it looks like more of a distinguishable difference in height from the ground.

Just take a quick gander at this informative article I found, which shows numerous pictures of the outside of the car.

My point exactly.

Saying the Cobra R has ALL V6 body parts.....then saying except this, this, this, and this is contradicting lol.

Thats like saying my girlfriend is the hottest chick in the world. Except for Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johansson, and Gemma Arterton. Its stupid to say that lol.

As rice as this sounds, if you cant do new wheels anytime soon, you should do something temporary, like paint them black.

No thanks lol. I can get away with this look where I live because it's almost nothing BUT ricers on the streets, so I can wait. I'm hoping next summer to get them.

I'm curious, did your bumper come with any type of mounting stuffs for foglights? I know they belong in the outer two holes, but on my bumper, they're just tube/holes, they're nothing to mount them to. I was wondering if you needed the bezel/trim piece that goes in there or not. Do you have pictures of the back of your bumper?

I don't, but I was wondering the same things. I know Cervini's sells fog lights for this bumper, but I don't know if any others will work and if you need the bezels and what not. I'll have to give them a call when I have the money.

Hate to say it, but i agree with the haters. It doesnt fit your body lines at all, and do as Steeda says, remove all that ****. Coulda done much better with an 03/04 bumper, or without the splitter. But its your choice. Looks better than stock actually though.

Ok, just putting this out there because I'm tired of hearing it over and over. This is not a "how can I make my car look better" topic. It's a "hey please let me know what you think of my bumper and headlights" topic. I know what NEEDS to be done. remove door guards, rocker stripes. Get new rims and springs. I know. Thank you.

don't sweat the comments blaze. no matter what u do some people will like it and some people will not. really think the headlights look good. have to agree with some of the others about not having enough to go along with the bumper. it's all a matter of personal opinions though.
