Did a full detail last week, finally had a chance to get out and snag a few pics. (wash, clay, polish, glaze, wax on the exterior; interior and motor were cleaned up as well)

Nothing much is new, currently have the spoiler off, from polishing the car last week, but kind of like it so will probably try it out for a while.

Also suggestions as to what color to paint my brake calipers, I was thinking black with silver letting, any other ideas?? Not sure I want to do red as it really doesn't go with the blue/silver and subtle theme.

Next changes will be the brakes being painted, and the exhaust being polished.

haha, yeah the spoiler will likely end up back on, just something I felt like changing up for a few weeks or so. haven't had it that fast with the top up, but top down it isn't too bad honestly.

Gahhhh I've always been so envious of your car.

Your car has actually convinced me to buy a new borla stainless catback once I have to money to do so. I love love love the polished exhaust on 01+ Cobras.

 

You had your car 140+ with the top down? Your a brave man if so, i took mine up to around 100 with it down and i could seriously feel the drag on it bad.

What type of camera do you guys use to take such crisp pictures? My digital camera doesn't do **** compared to some of the pictures I've seen here. Are those edited or something or right from the camera?

I am using a canon rebel xt, with the standard 18-55mm lens, and also a fixed 50mm lens, with aperture settings down to 1.8.

The only editing I do is I usually bump the contrast up, and either brighten/darken the picture depending on how it exposed and then throw a border on it, so nothing too fancy.

those you will have to wait a while for as I don't have a video camera, but I do have a friend with one, who I can probably convince to make me a video sometime this summer.

 

Yeah I'm going to be doing that too, but I'll have to use my Cell Phone probably.
I'm going to do 3 different videos, how my car sits now, then how it sits without the baffles in the mufflers and then without mufflers.

After looking at the pics again, I like it with the wing on too.

And the only thing missing are some nitrous solenoids and a nozzle going into that JLT intake. Just my two cents lol.

haha, agreed on the nitrous. I have certainly contemplated it more than once. I have a terrible desire to make this thing faster this summer; and can't afford a supercharger yet so nitrous I think might be able to curve that need for speed for a while. That and a set of 4.30 gears with a nice tune
