Thumbs up The fiance's Stang.

Jessi and I have just recently started piecing her car together little by little and it's all starting to come together now.

Had the sneak the GT in there somewhere, right?

So far her car has: Stock Antenna shortened to roof height with the ball re-attached, GT500 Wheels & Tires, GT Painted Skirts, Dark Smoked front turn signals, Pony package side badges, "door dingers" deleted, full stereo, tinted windows and now the Roush Scoop.

And I'm sure someone will say something about the lack of performance mods.. This car is more about show and looking good. Eventually we'll do a GT rear bumper and a set of duals and maybe a CAI + programmer, but that will probably be the extent of it.

Car looks good! looks just like my little sister v6.

Don't bother with a GT rear or dual exhaust. Justin at VMPtuning did a **** of testing with his wifes 07 v6. He found that unless you do nitrous or boost that dual exhaust on a bolt on 4L v6 is worth nothing. However a axleback muffler swap,CAI, and tuner made 25rwhp more. That is a solid gain.

My sister just got a 07 v6 and I have been helping her with some mods. I just put VMP's CAI/Tuner combo on the car and it already had a magnaflow axleback and it pulls pretty darn good. Spins the tires all through first gear on stock meats. Which is pretty fun for a little v6. I highly recommend his cai/tuner combo.

It's completely fine you have no performance mods.. I don't have any in mine. It's strictly looks. The subtle changes are good because mustangs arent meant to be over the top.. Just I don't like GT500 wheels. I reallllyy dont.

Yep, we would go with the VMP kit, I know he's done some good work and tested it on his personal cars so it would be a solid setup.

We would probably do the rear bumper + duals more for the looks than anything else.. I know that the 4.0 sound better than any of the other sixxers in the past, but it's still going to sound like a V6.. lol

Right now I'm just wanting to get a GT front bumper + a painted chin and I think we're going to end up doing the black billett grill with the tri-bar pony on the side for the old school look. I've finally got her talked into doing the old school CDC ducktail spoiler too!

+1 on not liking the GT500 wheels, but they are leaps over the stock wheels and I know you probably got them for cheap.

I'd definitely be shooting for the ducktail and chin spoiler. Then it'd be a hot little sixxer.

What are your wheels BTW? I'm too lazy to search it...

I wasn't a big fan of the GT500 wheels either, but at the time she was really wanting the Chrome ones which were just don't look good at all to me. I ended up finding those for like $5-600 a year or so ago from a local guy that had totaled his GT500. They were only on the car for roughly 1,000 miles so that was a pretty damn good deal. I've grown to like them alot, but I still prefer to have the 20" Chrome Saleens on the '05+ cars. The thing that is really making them stick out like a sore thumb is the fact that she cleaned the car and didn't use any tire wet, so they look a little poopy.

My wheels are Black Chrome DD '03 Cobras, 17/9 fronts and 17/10.5 rears.

Yea I figured you got a good deal. Hell the tires are worth 5-600.

I'm thinking about some black chrome DD cobras for the Termi. I just don't know if it'd look good or not....that's why I asked.

I think the car is coming along very nicely. Who's picking the mods, you or her? Keep up the good work!

Not to hijack or anything, how do you shorten your antenna? I'd rather do that then pay 20 for a shorty one that plenty of people have said snap...

I'm suggesting, she's making final decisions. I've pushed her in certain directions, but won't make her do anything to it. It's her car and I want her to be happy with it.

Measure, cut, pop the ball off the old antenna, use a drill bit to open the hole in the ball, glue it back onto the shortened antenna. Ta-da, free shorty antenna.

Looks good. I am definitely a fan of the GT side skirts. Looks soooo much better than the V6 ones. I wouldn't have put a fender badge on there, though. I'm jealous of Jessi's previously nekkid fenders! I would love if Spooky didn't have any badges whatsoever on him. I ******* love the clean and plain look.

Mine is rusty. I color it with a Sharpie. I might as well take it off and spray paint it.

CDC Ducktail is on the way, should be here Wed.

She decided on the Foose style Ducktail, it's more laid back and doesn't stick out quite as much, kind of similar to an '03/04 actually.. Also got the Foose style rear blackout panel that delete's the fake *** gas cap.

Like this minus the "foose" logo:

I like the way the back end looks on that car! The whole thing is coming together nicely, what else do you have planned for it?

It's definitely worth it IMO. Fake plastic things that resemble gas caps FTL.

Thanks bud. We're piecing it together a little at a time. I think the next round will probably be a GT front end complete with fogs and hopefully a chin spoiler of some kind.. Just have to wait and see what the funds allow, but we've done quite a bit in the last two months or so. She's got the mod bug now and can't stand not being able to buy things for her car, I'm trying to get her to slow down because I'm already at the point with my car that little things don't matter much. I've got to start really spending some cash to add to mine so I want her to savor the mods a little at a time unlike I did. LOL
