Default Teaser shots..

The sun wasn't cooperating with me this afternoon, plus the car really isn't very clean, but here a couple of teaser shots..

I'll get some more later, but the car has to go back to the shop this week to be realigned and have everything re-torqued, I think one of the headers is leaking just a bit so we'll have to go over everything one more time.

Thanks. I did it myself, paint matched oxford white with 3 coats of clear. I painted it silver last year, but it just never really worked for me. I'm in love with the white though it brings just enough color into the interior to make it pop, but not be overkill.

This was it when I bought it:

And this was after I painted it silver:

I think that some people just go overboard and paint all of the bezels in the car, like the door bezels and everything... I'll take some better pictures during the day later, but it really does look good.

You preferred it with holes drilled in the shifter bezel and a "281" emblem covering a couple of them? LOL

You like the exhaust & Cobra Mirrors?

well just go ahead and make fun of what I liked then... I didnt care about the holes. I had an extra emblem cause AM makes you by them in pairs(lame) I was sitting in the car one day and looked thru the glove box...I found the xtra emblem, I slapped it over a few of the holes since it wouldnt cover all of them. spur of the moment thing that I never undid, or felt the need to undo.

I did the **** that matters, the shifter and the steering wheel.

btw, the shifter bezel is that plasticmetal thing you installed around the shifter gate area.

yeah cobra mirrors are sweet...I had to go back and look cause I didnt notice them the first time. tips are cool too.

I cant comment on the exhaust cause I havent heard it yet.

You know I'm just ******* with you buddy, I know you're almost never going to like anything that I do to the car because you were happy with it as it was.

BTW: It's a shifter bezel, the piece that I added it a "Shifter bezel ring."

Trust me, it sounds much better. I've gotten nothing but compliments.

to me, a bezel is a ring..w/e like a watch bezel... is a ring kind of thingy.

and, you're not ******* with me, you're just ******* up my old car.

true, I would not have spent a dime on the interior unless the mod was a functional improvement. (except the 281 cover up stealth part..lol)

oh, suggestion...paint the shifter **** topper white as well, hand paint in the pattern in black with a tiny paint brush.

Damn Zig! Stop being so boring!

Evan, I love those tips. They look bad-***. I also like the center console. Not sure if it's something I'd do if I had that car, but it does look good.

I think the silver would be better if it was matte. It almost looks white in your first pic.

I'm painting the same part of my interior matte black. I ******* hate 100% gray interior arrrgh.

Oh, lawl. I thought the flash just overexposed the silver too much. But that does look better than glossy silver, I guess.

Thanks, I appreciate it a lot. I've gotten lucky with some things, but with most everything that I've found has been after hours and hours of trolling forums and negotiating back and forth with people, it's been a lot of work.

I'm going to leave the keyhole, if something was to ever happen to the electronic trunk release I'd have no way to get into it if there was no keyhole.

Gotta get some more miles on it and get it broken in, it's getting louder and louder the more that I drive it.

I will almost never buy anything new, but I will probably end up getting the rear bumper new.

I love the scoop deletes too, one of the few exterior mods that Dave did before I bought the car and I will most likely never change.

Yes, it sounds ******* amazing! lol

Really, it sounds great. Absolutely no drone, but it screams when you want it to and has a great rumble when you hit the sweet spot between 1,500-3,500 RPM. It still isn't even close to being broken in and I've gotten a ton of compliments. I also went with Pypes Hi-Flow cats to help with the scavenging and give me some of the back pressure to keep the low-end torque in check.

I like the white, but that silver was awesome. Personal preference FTW.

I have always flirted with the idea of personalizing mine like that, but I have finally decided on saving that money to buy a GT, which is what I should have bought in the first place.

Looking great though.

Sorry for threadjacking, Evan.

I usually post for a while on forums, and then disappear for a while. I joined up here because i wanted to work on my Mustang and I wanted some advice. Then I decided I didn't want to dump money into a V6 when I am trying to save up money for a GT. Eventually coming and seeing all these sick rides gave me ***** envy and I went away for a while.

Then last week I had a radiator problem and came back for some advice and figured I'd stay a while.
