Small new mod, for free :)
So a friend of mine works at a vinyl decal shop. I was out and about today n stopped by. I've always kinda liked how they numbered the Saleens, and since my car is actually a limited run, numbered vehicle... we found the font they used to number the Saleens and made up the decal for my car and placed it in the same spot. Just a lil something different for the Bullitt to set it apart.

I undertand what you're doing, but its kinda poser-ish in my eyes. Plus yours isn't anywhere near the low Saleen numbers (amount of cars ran that is).
But if you like it then more power to ya.

Even though the saleens have lower production numbers I feel the bullitt is definitely unique enough to warrant the numbers.

where I see the point your trying to make, the bullitt mustang is one of the lower production new edge mustangs there are. There were 5582 total built, each has a specific build number in a registry and was only produced in 2001 in 3 colors, 1 of which is unique to the bullitt stangs.

And the Roushs.
And the CJ Stangs.
And the GT500s.
And the KRs.
And the 45th Anniversary KRs.
See my point?

they all are numbered. Roushes, CJs, All cobras, bullitts, and Mach 1's i believe were finally given the option (originally you could not get the build number but if i recall Ford decided to add them since they kept track). No not all these cars come with a decal on them, but you can get certificates for cobras, cjs, and mach 1s. and numbers were kepts for bullitts, roushes and saleens.

Welllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll like i said to begin with... i just liked the way they numbered the Saleen on top of the bumper like that, and since my car IS a numbered car in a limited production, i thought it would be cool. Thanks to those of you who like it as well, as for the rest... Oh the **** well

As for the Bullitts, they all have 2 decals on the car from the factory with the build number. One is on the driver's side strut tower, and the other is hidden... if you pull the back seat, and then pull down the carpet, its on the vertical part between the floorboard and rear seat. Two sets of stickers for each Bullitt were produced. The 1st set was obviously placed on the car, the second set was kept by Ford, and you can request the second set, if it hasn't already been gotten by a previous owner.

Not to say that i know EVERYTHING about 01 Bullitts, but I made it a point when i bought the car to learn everything i could find about my car. I knew about the decal on the strut towers, but was unaware of the hidden one and the second set that Ford kept. Interesting bit of info all the same though.
And yeah, IMO, i think any mustang that was produced in a limited run, and is a numbered vehicle should have come with the number on the bumper like they did the Saleens. It is just something small that sets the cars apart from the rest of the pack. Thats why i put my car number on mine.
