Do you know how much the wheels weigh I'm assuming super light on account of the carbon fiber

 

Well, seriously... why do people constantly have to cry about it? He's doing the exact same thing we do when we all get new mods. Showing them off. There is not a ******* thing wrong with that.

Think of it this way, you know damn good and well if you got a Cobra, you'd come on here bragging your *** off. Hell, any of us would. So how is that any different? Half the time, he doesn't bring up really anything that I consider to be bragging... it's just some of you see it that way and turn it into this big ******* bitch fest. What?!? Did you not see the thread he posted about the street racing accident? He didn't brag about his cars in that thread.


Are you ******* kidding me? By your logic, I guess that means that any future Mustang owners who might be interested in one shouldn't post here until they get one, whether they want the opinions of people that actually own the cars or not.

Also, by this flawed logic, anyone that doesn't currently have a Mustang shouldn't post here. Zig, Badfish, 3.8, Jack, and a few others wouldn't be posting here. That's pretty damn sad. If this forum abided by those rules, we'd be missing some awesome people.

Personally, I like seeing Danny's cars. I think it brings a bit of variety to the forum. I don't want to see just Mustangs all the time.

Future mustang owners is a different story. I would consider them BUDGET cars or affordable. you obviously got me the wrong way considering Zig, Badfish, Jack and other non-current mustang owners still contribute to the mustang part of the forum with their opinions and insights. correct me if I am wrong but it is called mustangboards.com? correct? you just completely took what i said and put your own spin on it.

 

I dont think Spin contributes to this board other than posting pics of his ****. Usually in someone else's thread in an attempt to "1-up" them. Not in this particular case tho...he made his own thread.

Its been forever since Ive seen him post an answer to another member's mustang related question. In that sense, he doesnt contribute really.

 

I don't think this thread requires any bashing. He specifically stated his reason for posting this thread, to show off his new wheels and to show off the photography. Personally I think the wheels are badass, I think its cool that they're the same wheel with the color matched lip. Excellent photography work too, whoever took those has some talent. What size are the wheels?

19" fronts, 20" rears on both cars.

the front of the lambo i may swap it out to a 20", mostly because the 19"/20" may be damaging the tranny since its an AWD. even tho the diameters pretty identical, i dont want to take the chance.

22lbs each. The wheels arn't made of carbon fiber. Their made of 6061 aircraft aluminum, the carbon fiber is real carbon fiber overlays, if anything making the wheels heavier.

Their lighter then the competitors because they are "race prepped", chunks of unnecessary aluminum behind the spokes shaved off, and holes drilled all over the back of the hub to shave off weight.

One thing i use to hate about putting after market wheels is that it always makes the car feel heavier/lost of performance. With these they actually feel like your driving on stocks.

Regardless, at the end of the day their just for looks. Im having a really light set of 19" wheels being made for the track.
