A few teasers

Thanks guys. Got everything finished up last night. Kinda nervous to start it up for the first time cause you don't want anything to go wrong after taking all that time to install the damn thing. So anyways, went to start up and it just cranked a few tiems. Finally got it fired up and just died like a second later. Wouldn't start, said screw it, I'll try again tomorrow. Was laying in bed and it hit me that I unplugged the fuel cutoff when installing the fuel pump and such and never plugged it back in. So I have something to look forward to when I get home from work. As long as it's running, it will be going to the dyno tomorrow.

With the long tubes and everything, and hoping for around 400rwhp, but I'll be happy to hit 380rwhp. I'll have some boost lost with the intercooler, but I have a 3.33" pulley on it. The dyno will be a mustang dyno so the numbers will show a little lower. To be honest, I'll be happy with whatever as long as the car is running smooth.

sweet deal...i see your still milking this install out! LOL. i see you figured out the belt situation and got that on. remember, for now on turn the key to ACC and make sure you hear the pump prime the lines. another thing that may be an issue with 400+ hp is that you may need a BAP to keep your fuel pump duty cycle down. since you have a manual 420-430 hp is when the pump loses pressure because of load. that intercooler looks pretty big so the 3.33 pulley may scratch 10 PSI at 6k if you have a powerpipe.
i dont know if you know what vortech v2's sound like while idleing but the gears are pretty noisy and sound like they're going bad. i'm going to say thats normal because mine has made those noises since the day i installed it back in september 2005. since then i put 27k miles on my car and it still makes the same grinding noises. then there is the whistle and then people look at your car crazy...some chick in my shop asked me if my car was running okay because it was making a squealing noise, i LOL'd as i walked off.
booosssttt is fun....

I'm glad to hear though that the gear sound is normal, cause I was a little nervous at first. I believe mines a V1 though. Anyways, I got a base tune on the car from the place I'm gonna have it tuned, just need to get over there sometime this week. Car seems pretty smooth so far keeping it under 3000 rpms, except it dies occasionally. I will get a vid as soon as I can.
