I feel the exact same way. With autocross, your cooped-up, no room to stretch the legs and show off what the Mustang (Cobra in your case) shines at. It's really bad at our Arkanasas autoX location. yeah no kidding. Our parking lots are usually terrible as well, sometimes they have a light layer of dirt/sand and weeds sprouting out of some areas, it's near impossible to even open up the car because as soon as you do the tires break loose plus $40 for less than 5 mins total of driving time plus you spend 6-8hrs out there between working the course and your turn racing, it just doesn't have the pay off like an open track event seems to have. Autox is a great way to get into automotive sports, but I definitely feel the desire to step up.
