Thanks for all the compliments guys. Feels good to finally be back in a stang. She just roled over 37,000 yesterday.

It's lowered, I'm not sure what brand though. I bought like how you see. I'll check the brand next time I jack it up off the ground...

I've got a pretty good job for my age. I'm doing an apprenticeship at a foundry as a maintenance mechanic, going to get my journeymen's card.
Insurance really isn't that bad. I paid $460 every 6 months for the GTI and now I pay $560 every 6 months for the Cobra.

Basically what he's saying is that the Cobra insurance is in his dad's name.. lol.... Insurance for anyone under 25 on a Cobra would be out of this world.

how the hell are you paying 93$/mo on a cobra? is that full coverage?
#15
Yeah you are right. But with me still living at home and going to school and working full time. There is no reason for me to get on my own insurance unless I'm forced too which will be when I move out. And I did get a quote on the Cobra on my own policy out of curiousity. It was only $125 a month for full coverage and a $500 deductible.

that just doesn't sound right to me. im not trying to attack you on this or anything, im just curious because i pay 106/mo on my 02 V6 and im 22 and under my parents insurance policy with full coverage. 125/mo for full coverage for a 21yo on their own on an 03 cobra doesn't compute for me. maybe geographical area is playing a role.

I understand where you are coming from, I'm not bullshitting you guys. It probably does have alot to do with area and I think alot of it has to do with a loyalty discount or something like that. My parents have been with Nationwide for a LONG time. But then again, maybe you should start paying more attention to all those insurance commercials and start shopping around, .
