Better shots to come once I get Ryan(switch) to come over and take some moving shots and stills of the car for my dad for fathers day. Also please excuse my 2megapix shitty camera from 1999. The G/F has the good camera in her damn car today.

If it was up to me I would honestly put a small turbo on it at 4-5psi. Just to make it quick enough so I don't die pulling into traffic. Words can't express how slow and unsafe this car is.

I love it! :flamed:

There is barely enough room for the motor and fan lol. I wanted to do a motor swap years ago, but the cool factor of it being an all original drivetrain made us keep it like that. Plus the biggest motor that would fit would most likely be a Ford 2.3 I4 from the 80's mustangs lol.

Lazerred6 06-19-2009 04:10 PM

they make small nitrous kits:D

Ok, lets drop a 2.3l turbo from a TC or an SVO. I just gave away an SVO short block a year ago lol.

The pics are a little grainy cause the lighting was really dark and I didn't have a tripod, but I think they came out pretty good.

doobie 06-20-2009 04:14 PM

damn! thats a killer summer ride. someone in my neighborhood has an MG convertible, nowhere as cool as that.

spike_africa 06-20-2009 07:02 PM

Yeah its a cool car to cruise in for sure. When its cleaned up it looks great. However it took me around 5 hours just to do the outside on this car because of all the chrome and tight places etc... on it.

Mr. Zip 06-20-2009 07:54 PM

That's hot...

1954 MG TF 1250cc monster, made 61hp when new. Now its more like 40hp after all the wear and tear on the rings and cylinder walls. Its like a go cart, but slow and brakes really badly lol.

LilMissLayla 06-22-2009 12:13 AM

Sweetness. :) What a badass little thing that is.
