Default Local Car Show

Took my car to a local show on Sat. There were 67 cars, everything from street cars, ricers, 4x4's, show cars, and Army jeeps. My little Pony won Best in Show by fan vote.

Looks like a nice show. Your car looks awesome man, your mustang is the only I have seen to pull of chrome headlight housings. The skulls look badass when did you get those done? Engine bay is spotless! How big of a shot you running?

Thanks everybody for all the coments, I had the air brush work done last fall when I had the hood repainted. I was the "Poster Child" for the skulls, the guy that did it always wanted to paint some on the side of a Mustang door because he said it was a "billboard". I told him to go for it. I was very happy with the way it turned out. I also won best modiflied Mustang in a show last Sept. The little kids love the skulls.

Its a 100 shot NX plate kit. I was ordering a polished KB but credit card is on "Life Support in Critical Condition" maybe in the fall.

I dont post up alot of pics of the car because I think my taste is more "Old School" and the younger guys and girls today go for something different.

I just had to say it... Your engine bay is downright amazing.

I keep coming back to this thread and just staring... I finally just saved the picture to my PC.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the stuff? The braided lines look awesome, and the canton tanks just clean everything up so nicely. Please share your suppliers!

LOL, I'm 22 years old, so I guess that counts in the "younger" dept. haha!

I'm just sitting here at work druling over the picture.. I've got to find some of this stuff, the STB is awesome, especially with the little "hook" things holding the breather hose up off of the intake, I love it all though. I just need to find it all in brushed instead of polished.

Ive done a shitpot to the car in past three years, one more payment and its mine! Its like everybody on these boards say "one mod and then you are hooked" I do all my own work so all I have to do buy parts.

I wasnt trying to say anything bad about the "younger" crowd. It just seems that alot of people want the same thing as far as mods. Go out on a limb and make it your "own". I hope this doesnt sound shitty but "Build it the way you want and please yourself first and everybody else second. If I live long enough one day you guys are going to see a 427 small block Ford with a 6-71 blower hung out the hood. Thats my "Nut City"

Once again Thanks everybody for your comments

I dont know if i count as a younger guy anymore or not, but i dont think there is anyone on the board who could possibly think of a bad thing to say about that car! Absolutly beautiful!

Tuff I honestly think that your car is one of the best GT's I have ever seen. I absolutely love the wheel/tire combo (what are they?) and overall a very clean, immaculate car. The engine bay speaks for itself I don't need to comment on that. If you could get me a list of what you have under there also go for it!

Man I love your car. Looks like an old school classic. Usually not a fan of airbrushing on these cars, but I'm really digging the skulls man. Just adds to the badass affect.

Hey Tuff, do you got any pics of your trunk? I wanna see your setup in there. Like where you put the battery and how you mounted up the bottle.

One of the nicest 2V motor bays I've seen. Its hard to make them look good cuz they are so plain and full of plastic but you've done very well. You've got a lot of money tied up just in fittings under that hood. Looks great!

I will get you some pics tomorrow. I mounted the bottle on a piece of diamond plate. The battery is in a Taylor box, but had to build a mounting bracket to hold to battery.

Thanks everyone for the comments!!!
