Well, nobody really wanted pics of their car so I really didn't take too many. The ones that I did take ended up being pretty damn good, though.

How do you camera guys always know what lenses are being used? I just don't get it lol. Is this something you look for?

 

the lower the number (in this case 1.8) the wider the aperature which means more light passes in, however, a wide aperature also results in shortening the DOF (depth of field). When you focus on something the area right in front of it and right behind it will be in focus, but the further you go out from the focal target the more out of focus it gets. That "In Focus Area" is called the Depth of Field or DOF

when he snaps a pic of an engine bay and there is only an inch in front and behind the subject that is in focus we know he is using a very wide aperature. His kit lens only goes down to 3.5

his new lens goes to 1.8 which gives that razor thin DOF.

and i also know he is using it cause i have the same lens, and since i got the lens it has only been off my camera twice, cause it kicks so much ***.

After the meet me, Ryan, John, and his buddy headed over to Stephen's house to hangout and put the cobra trunk lid on. Looks damn good. Can't really tell the color difference in the pics, but in person they are two different whites. Went to downtown Orlando for the corner meet that night too, was pretty cool over there.

 

Oh yeah... I forgot he kept telling me to put those pics up.

Nah, not really. A pretty good amount of cars showed and it was a little crazy considering the magic won a few streets away. The crowd was a little ridiculous.
