getting ready for paint-UPDATED PICS-FLAME ON
should be getting painted this weekend so i started the prep work and was going to share a few quick pics. sorry about the quality. i'll try and get better ones the next time. first time i am prepping myself so any suggestions appreciated. going at it with a wet 400 and some filler primer. used some bondo for the couple of big pits but for the most part the primer seems to fill in the scratches and small chips pretty good. i'll try and keep up with the whole process and post a couple here and there.

here's a couple more from today. i got to get home and finish it tomorrow. other than some light touching up in some areas that i saw after it dried, got everything but the back of trunk, rear bumper, pass. door and pass quarter panel. im gonna have to get off as early as i can tomorrow. is it leagal to drive without headlights actually attatched as long as it's daylight? i've got a 45 minute drive to salado saturday where im getting it painted and i'd just assume take them with me in my trunk and not bother putting them back on then taking them off when i get there.
on another note, i never liked the "no wing" look to much, but looking at it with it off, it might look ok. think i'll paint it and leave it off temp. just to see how i like it.

I can't be mad at him. He said he never done it himself, and I said go ahead. I took a chance now I'm stuck with them. It ain't what I origanally wanted but I'm happy with them. I was planning on new bulbs anyway the orange was peeling off them.

Wow dude, I'm sorry, but that looks like complete ****. Couldn't tell what it looked like in the thumbnail, then I opened it and saw several colored stenciled flames. Just sand that **** back down and have him re-spray it to match. You should have stopped him with the flames right when he took out the stencil.

also please tell me you didn't pay more than 200bux for him to paint it...i put money on it that there is quite a bit of dirt and **** in the paint. If he was gonna paint it in a rental shop he should have at least bare min shut all the doors and put a **** load of box fans blowing air out of the building, and flooded the floor with water to prevent dust kicking up. No offence but maaco prolly woulda been better for you since they have paint booths.
