Every year in March, the car guys with the biggest nuts (automotively speaking) and the deepest pockets, gather in Houston for the Supra Nationals...a 4 day weekend full of drag racing, road course racing, dyno pulls, and street racing like no other.
Although it's called the Supra Nationals, it is not exclusive to Supra owners only...it's an opportunity to see some of the fastest, highest hp cars in the country, and people come from all across the country to compete with each other. I have been fortunate enough to attend the last 3 years, and plan on attending every year from here on out.

Those are some great pictures! It is awesome that you guys have such a variety. There's something for everyone... except ricers, haha.

Hands down, my favorite cars are the copper Vette in the first round of pictures, the yellow Vette with the black wheels, and that sonic blue cobra (minus those wheels).

 

nice cobra in there, real nice vipers/vettes too! hate the porsche with the camo

 

Definitely some cool pics. My friend use to have some videos of these nationals awhile back. Looks like it would be lots of fun.

 

Sweet shots...that yellow ZR1 looks more like a lambo than a vette, IMO.
Do you post on nikoncafe any? Some of the night shots look familiar.

The cost for those rotors are like $1700 a piece. haha. The whole brake kit (pads, rotors, calipers) is close to 10K.

you should see how much it costs to service the GTR Friggin expensive. The warranty on the GTR is a whole another story.

The 04 Cobra and GT500 in the vid were ******* SICK!

 

Thats because there are way too many computer controlled aspects of that car. They take the fun out of the driver having to know how to drive. It's a good looking car, but kinda dumb how you can have the car basically launch for you and be perfect like everytime.
