here are a couple goodies i;ve bought

Akrapovic slip on exhuast (VERY high quality, they make ferrari, porche, etc exhuasts)
Rizoma grips (that actually replace the existing ones rather than just sliding on.)
Woodcraft frame sliders..

I've got some more stuff on order. (all of these parts were necessary btw)

SLP02GT 04-12-2009 06:47 PM

Woodcraft sliders are badass. Are you getting Engine case covers/guards??? I wan't to get and Akra shorty slip on for my bike, but I still enjoy the quietness of my bike right now, lol.

Badfish 04-12-2009 11:58 PM

spike_africa 04-13-2009 05:14 AM

holy FAIL batman!!!

best of both worlds is where its at!! ... sport touting... ala FZ6!

fuck cruisers, they are slow(most), heavy for no good reason, they dont stop, they dont turn, they can sound good...but most dont... not to mention because they dont handle or stop well...they arent as safe as a sport/touring bike.

yeah, with yours, you're not riding a windshield down the road... and yours looks to have a capable braking system as well...dual front rotors...

I was lookin at a 2009 Harley that was going for $18k with one measly rotor up front on a 900lb bike, shameful.

Badfish 04-13-2009 11:41 PM

I love it Dustin. I wish I could have both.

Hey badfish I love my gixxer thats why I'm keeping her stock right now except for the Pilot Power tires which I think are ok I might try some different tires next time, So far I have ran Pilot Powers and Battlaxs I liked them both, Did you get to ride your CBR yet, they are great bikes. And Zigg I agree sport touring bikes are the best all around bikes I rode SV650s and SV1000's and loved them both, comfy and still very powerful. The torque feels crazy on the V twins.

Badfish 04-14-2009 01:03 PM

yeah I've rode my cbr..haha..that's how i crashed it. I'm on Dunlop Qualifiers right now and they are damn sticky.

haha is that what you read on an fz6 forum?

Dunlops are good enough for AMA riders dragging knee at 90 miles per hour..good enough for me. I haven't done a track day yet, but on the street, these things stick like stink on an ape.

quite a few guys on the street have gone down due to Dunlop's tendencies to be sticking at one moment and then slipping aggressively into a non catch-able slide. What Im saying has nothing to do with what I read on a forum... I ride with a large group of folks.. it only takes 3 or 4 guys that I know, that are experienced riders to have an issue with them to make me leary of dunslops. Tires are so important...etc...

I was referring to Dunlop's street tires.

AMA racers are using special everything... can you buy the exact same Dunlop tires they use for the street? I wouldnt think the tires the racers use would not be street legal.

Oh shit man, sorry haven't been on this forum for a while. I thought maybe you bought the bike wrecked and were fixing it up. My buddy bought a wrecked CBR F1 600 for $800 and put maybe $300 of ebay parts on it and it runs and looks good, he got a hell of a deal.
