How does the air get in exactly?

I do street race and yeah I know that's not good blah blah I get it. Maybe I shouldn't get it then, anything I have is a Daily Driver, besides my pocket bike and SUV. LoL

Oh **** really? I used duct tape to cover that hole....

Very very nice!! I like the look of the cowl hoods but my short *** can't see over a hood scoop much less a cowl.

the cowl opens a larger space above the engine to let air flow.

It helps a litttle, but Cowls are best just used for clearance

Well put, my mind wasn't thinking about that, but then again I don't think of Engines doing that. Unless you go and get one of those huge Blower type of Engines.

That would cost so much. I've been doing all my work on my own, trying. If and win I get a Super Charger I'm doing it my self (bad idea).

Blower = Supercharger

So in essence, your "bad idea" is to create another one of "those huge Blower type of Engines".

I meant bad idea on me doing my own Super Charger, I'm not getting one of those blowers that sitck out your of your hoods or anything.

That would be hard since those old school blowers are A-very unefficient blowers, and B-don't fit on a modular Ford motor without lots of expensive special parts. But then you just have an out dated old blower on a new motor.
