Gotta have the Picture of you taking a picture of you huh? lol. i have some of those myself.
it is the "PhotographEmo" pic. lol
I like the pics of the bike, the closeup on the saddle bag and the Boulevard emblem especially.
You gotta get that white balance figured out though, it all has a light yellowish cast.
Get a grey card. Sit it in the frame with the bike, take the shot, then in photoshop go into curves, select the "white" eyedropper and clock it on something that is white, take the "black"eyedropper and click on something that is black, then take the "mid tone" eye dropped and clock it on the grey card and BAM, perfect white balance.
you could probably use the garage floor as a grey card. lol
That first pic is great cause you can play around with the lens correction tool, looks like you shot that at a pretty wide angle, or your garage is curved. lol.
Looking good man looking good!

Yeah, I had my wide angle adapter on. And the yellowish white balance was done purposefully. I liked the look.

Anyways, nice weather, hopefully it actually sticks so we can get some moisture around here.

These were taken the day after that snow storm...we had TONS of robins out, so I took out the camera for a few shots...
(^^^ out of focus, I know. I just thought it was interesting that I caught it in air when it wasn't flying)
(^^^ My personal favorite from this batch)

Some from the Denver Auto Show this afternoon...Trying to take pictures in that lighting sucked. I brought my polarizer, but it didn't help much. Not to mention the massives crowds of people that made it nearly impossible to take any photos. Anyway....this is all for this post. Still trying to get some more on my comp.
...more to come

I think you did a fantastic job!
there is a Audi R8 identical to that one that I have seen on C-470 a handful of times. ...
The Dodge came out smoking man, defaintly looks nice and crisp.
Pic 3 and 4 look somewhat soft. Probably cause the 5.6 aperature gives a narrower DOF, and yer sitting between 33 and 41mm,..
If you go back, try the same shot again, bump the Fstop up a couple stops for a smaller aperature which will increase the DOF. This should help on the softness. I suspect the camera is just having a hell of a time metering on that car cause yer running spot metering with featureless white area dead smack in the middle. Probably plays hell with the metering. Try a center weighted metering next time and see if that helps
I also see you are running shooting in full Manual mode... whaddup gangsta.. lol.. Props on the pics.

Hey, i dont know if you have messed around with it much but something you might like to try on this with photoshop.
layers - new layer via copy
Then go to Filters- Sharpen - Unsharpen Mask and try bumping up the sharpness a little bit and see how that treats ya. Make it a small change, then when you apply it hit CTRL- F a bunch of times then you can pop through the history tab and check it at various levels of sharpness and see if any of those do anything for you. I would imagine with the lines and reflections on the car it will really make them pop
ive become a major fan of the Unsharpen mask.

Yeah, I haven't tried any photo editing in PS yet...Right now I'm using LR2 to mass export the raw into jpegs, and then I resize them w/border and watermark in PS. I figure I'll work on editing later....
And yes I am shooting in full manual mode thank you very much. I told you I'd be shooting manual before you knew it.

Here is the last bit....for now anyway...
...still deciding on if I should post some others. I have A TON of the Taurus SVO, and a couple of the SVT Raptor, but they didn't come out very well at all I don't think. But maybe I'll post them up later anyway.

Naw, I'm more of the patient type. Although, the more time I spent there, the more and more it pissed me off that people were getting in my pictures. Actually thought about picking up a kid and tossing him into another vehicle because he had managed to get into 15 of my pictures...little punk was stalking me.
Chris-
I'm not going back. This year, anyway. With the weather that we're gonna get tomorrow, there is NO way my car could get there. Even if I could get there, the ramps in their parking garage are so steep I'd slide right back down again.

Okay so my brothers car is at the paintshop until Thursday, so we went over to Enterprise Rent-A-Car today and picked up this bright, punchy little punk....
2009 Ford Focus SES
And now just a weather shot to show that Evan isn't the only one having fun with the clouds lately...(neighbors house)

I never "learned" how to take "awesome photos", but I'll accept the compliment I just wing it...anyway, I got my camera from Pyxis Camera on Ebay for $750 it was a package deal - XSi body, 28-90mm, 75-300mm, wide angle adapter and telephoto adapter...
