I played with a few ideas but in the end, solid silver is the best. I just feel like in the long or short run I would get tired of the 2-tone.

Well I don't tote my camera around everywhere with me so I took the pics with my iPhone. Sorry for buying such a cheap phone and using it in a low lit area.

why you re-painting it?

 

Because the last time I had it painted I was lied to about what materials were used on the car. I was told PPG paint and PPG clear. The clear started fading and then flaking off last year. The car has been painted less than 3 yrs. I had some tests done on the clear that I sent to PPG and it was not PPG clear and it was more that half the thickness it should have been on the car.

Everything facing the sun was turning white and peeling. The paint shop has closed so basically I was fucked. I paid $2600 for a paint job almost 3 years ago and now here I am forking out $3,000 more.

I really wanted to do 2-tone but...I think that will run its course in time. You can't ever go wrong with leaving something one solid color.
