well to start off, i sanded them down then primered them, wet sanded the primer, then duplicolor acrylic enamel, then rustoleum clear enamel.. so with any luck my **** should hold up pretty good.

 

i should do this to my roush rims lol

They wont peal if you use the right spray paint and do a good job.. We have done many friends cars and even the 06 evo ix mr.. it has 30k+ on it, and its two years old.. They still haven't peeled.

 

I cant even tell what type of rims those are.

i now this threads a lil old but can you post pics of the finished project. i think im gonna do the the same thing(maybe not as glossy) to hold me off untill i can afford 03 cobras and i need new tires

they're comin.. i washed my car saturday and i was gonna get some but the camera was dead, then today the car was filthy because i drove down a few dirt roads..

lol, yea actually the spoiler came before the scoop.. and yea, thats a 1981 280zx, non-turbo one.. that belongs to the same guy that drives the jetta and was working at broomes across the street, if u worked at the y over last summer then chances are u seen it all the time..
