yep I did it...it was an impulse buy...looks pretty good during the day...nothing special but at night!!! wow!!! whats awsome is that the regular night lights are projectors, and your brights are TRUE HID's...very cool..here are some pics, also these were taken when there was still some light out!

the only thing is i think theyre pretty ugly diring the day lol, but at night they are sweet, a price for which im willing to sacrafice


and i spent a significant amount of money less than MT sells em for

damn, i usually pick mustangs out at night by their headlights.. that doesnt look like a stang at all and just the pictures hurt my eyes! lol

haha yeah the pictures dont do jutice to the brightness...its awsome, and I really love the face that they are projectors and HIDs for brights, and a helluva lot cheaper than a HID conversion kit

Sorry, but you dont have HIDs. Lol... You dont even have halogens. Hate to burst your bubble.

Yes, hes right. No offense. HID's are High Inensity Discharge bulbs. You know, the ones with the blue/purple lights. Which you don't have. :sad10:

yep the brights are true HIDs man...ive seen real ones, and these are..looks like a tiny little bulb, but puts out ENORMOUS light



well then how can a tiny little thing put put so much light?

well then how can a tiny little thing put put so much light?
Sorry, but in a projector housing, HIDs are d1s or d2s unless they are rebased. Even in a reflector housing which uses d1r ot d2r, the results are still the same. And your stock wiring harness for lights is not going to handle HID current because it comes with ballasts that push out 23,000 volts.
d2s bulbs are long and skinny, not "tiny little bulbs".

You have normal lights just like almost every other driver on the road.

The blue and purple you see is the end of your visible color spectrum, not the color of the output. They are white and when they hit a bump, thats why you see them change color.

thats weird tho man, seriously they arent much thicker than a pen, and shorter than your thumb, and they are brighter than the projectors for some reason

You could have saved a c note here

They're 170 cheaper than MT...
