The hood looks like it would extract heat before where the intake is lol. That seems like a retarded set-up. I love the look, but like the 03-04 Cobra's it should be near the top of the intake where it would get the most heat out.
Although, I never did like convertible Cobra's or GT500's. It just seems stupid to me to buy a convertible race car....lol
I like the wheels, love the interior, which is ten times better than the plain-looking interior of my car or any basic gt mustang for that matter. And, I must say that the new headlights with that front end look sick. I personally like the whole European super car look to it.

my whole point was to reiterate the fact that the heat extractor has nothing to do with the intake. All the damn hood does is allow heat to escape, thats it.
the GT500 pulls kona blue off nicely.

I was expecting to be 'wowed' when I clicked those links. All I got was more disappointment in addition to more cheap-*** tacky plastic on the hood.
I hate it. I don't even like the front. Reminds me too much of a Charger and a Dodge Ram.

I feel the exact same way.

Why more plastic? At least paint it. Other than that the thing is damn hot. I love the rims, although I don't know why they have to be 19". The vert is ugly. Hahaha, and my friends Dad just bought a GT500, I would have waited (Wouldn't have bought an 05-09 GT either, same principle).

just like the 2008 STi everyone and their mamma's were hatin on the car and now look at peoples opinions...i hated the online pics of the car and once i seen one trottin around my village i realized taht its really not a bad looking ride. this new look of the mustang just needs to grow on people.

of course... how much more different did you think it was going to look over the regular mustang...pull your head out of the clouds. i cant wait to see top gears review on this car its for certain going to get slammed. i like the changes on the car the convertible is terrible but the coupe is pretty amazing.

I wasn't expecting it to be a drastic difference. I was expecting it to look better than the 2010 V6 and GT, that's for sure. However, in my opinion, it doesn't. That's what I meant in my previous post.
Saying 'it needs to grow on people' is like talking about an ugly-*** person. No matter how much you are around them and see them, they still look like they got hit with every branch on the ugly tree.

you said you were expecting to be wowed and i was just thinkin to myself....really, wowed, c'mon...hmmm how 'wow' could you be for a GT500. its a ******* mustang so the only thing that is really badass about the car is the interior and the 4 valve 331 power plant.

+1 on the last stang business, but only because I love the audi's too much... maybe when I am loaded to the sky (with money, not drugs) I will have a GT500 to round out my collection, but as it stands living in the northeast has a drawback.
