Yeah, hunting is pretty standard here too but still I haven't tried deer. Hell I haven't even been hunting in maybe 3 or 4 years...

yea, that was 1/3 of the deer...we ate the other 2/3's of it lol. my buddy Tighe (pronounced Ty) is the one holding it....he shot it...so we were very greatful...lol...there was enough deer to feed 7 (well 9 since my friend is like 2 people..biiigggg kid) hungry college students. lol..

oh, the moment the meat was done cooking and put on a serving plate, it was gone...didnt even get the chance to leave the kitchen

i cant wait till next school year, im living with 4 hunters, we will have 2 kitchens (2 appartments for 8 guys) and it will be hunters feast galore!!!! duck, squirril, deer, turkey! lol i cant wait

Damn, I love deer. My neighbor always goes hunting and gives us a portion when he gets back. It is so awesome in every single way I have ever had it cooked.

heck yes to that. My room mate is a big hunter, had an elk hunt over the last month or so, unfortunately it closed and he didnt get one, but we have probably shot 20+ squirrels this year, and ate them, several ducks(waiting for it to get cold like it has been this week) and dove. It's a hobby I just picked up this year, and it is lots of fun.

nice. I have a .22 that I hope to take back next fall and I will probably buy a Remington 870 express super mag this summer so I can rock a shotgun as well. Don't think I am going to buy a large caliber rifle yet, dont' really have the time/money to commit to big game hunting like elk or deer yet.
