damn your car looks a mess on the outside...other than that great turn out. the only time i see the local mustang nerd is on track days a hour away from me and thats only once a month from may to october :/

This is your car right Venom? You got the 03/04 style cobra bumper on it now? Never seen that done on a sn95 before.

 

Ive posted some of the pics that members posted up on top. Im trying out the 03 cobra bumper to see how it works out. Looks wierd since some parts of the bumper are a darker shade that the rest like where the side markers are. The bumper is great as it has a bigger opening for the IC. My temp does not go above N on Normal only to the middle of normal when in traffic. I would say the hood and the bumper work really good. I have to install R3d's pvc kit but need to buy some a tap.

My car looks like a ricer owns it due to the rainbow bumper and hood. As soon as they see whats under the skin everyone knows its just a work in progress. Paint job makes a big difference as thats what you first see.

The bumper is indeed an 03 cobra grafted on a SN95. It is the only bumper that exists for my year with the large front opening for an IC. The only other options are the black widow type bumpers which I will not even consider. The Roush only have add on bumper pieces and Saleen has a narrow opening like GT and Cobra. If you notice the bumper drops down low so I do not need a chin. I may just get side skirts to smooth the sides.

 

i don't think that bumper looks good, Get a sn95 Cobra bumper

 

While the Cobra bumper might look better it is not functional for an intercooler. The front opening is as narrow as a standard GT.

 

I understand the functionality of the '03, but man it is just butt-ugly on the pre-new edge SN95.

Are you sure that there is no other option?

 

Maybe the Cobra R?

 

The Cobra R is a non functional bumper for a 1/4 mile car.

Any black car with a baby blue bumper is going to look ridiculas. Once everything is painted its going to change. Dont get hung up on the front bumper when most are only going to be seeing the rear bumper .

 

Yeah, and your rear bumper sucks. lol

I'd just roll around without a hood and showoff that motor.

 

Are you going to have the sides of the bumper molded? I've seen the bumper painted on several cars and I have yet to see anyone pull it off. The bumper is just tooo wide and looks funky.

 

Do you have any pics??? Ive been looking for someone with it painted and have yet to find any. Only found one with an actual whole front clip off a cobra which didnt look right. Im not 100 percent on bumper but I need to see it painted before I will give up on it.

 

Ive done that and couldnt drive anywhere without everyone starring at me. Plus its not good down here with all the rain.

 

 

I think the 03-04 Cobra bumper on the 94-98's looks awesome. I love it. It looks aggressive and yet flows well at the same time. If I had Venom's car, I wouldn't put that Cobra R piece of **** ugly-*** bumper anywhere near it. That bumper looks rice. Too big, bulky, and just doesn't fit.

Then again, if I had a car like Venom's, I'd drive around with a pink bumper and not give a damn.

Paint it and slap them silver stripes on it and it will look good! Oh and guys just a rule of thumb ALWAYS choose performance over looks.

 

Unless you have an automatic V6 Mustang that gets worse gas mileage than a V8 and costs just as much on insurance as a V8.
