My bud's Stang

It's actually all one piece (the hood) He just painted part of it flat black. I thought it was kind of badass actually. It's not an add on, I assure you.

Looks like the stock hood with a giant fake scoop thing like they used to put on the cheap new edge Roush's.

Knockoff?!?!? That is the Super Snake hood. At least it has a front end.

all in all, looks pretty damn good
and while yes, that is a supersnake hood, the flatblack makes it look like a giant fake cdc plastic scoop.
He should have either gone gloss black, or just done all silver.
in fact, a nice 2 tone with black on top silver on bottom would have looked sick with those body parts.

even so it should look better than it does I mean it doesnt even look like a smooth line from silver to black... it looks incredibly shitty im sorry... ide rather have seen black stripes than what looks like a walmart hood.

the fact it is flat black is gonna make it look shitty, a nice gloss hides a lot of imperfections. it looks like any other flat black painted part i have seen.
i tried zooming in the pics, i dont see the problem with the line between black and silver, alll i see are some artifacts in the image, but nothing that looks like crooked lines or overspray.
EDIT: Scratch that, i think i see what yer talking about in the opening of the hood vents in the very front.
he probably should have just went all silver. plus, it is hard to get fine lines on curved areas that have no real edges or corners.

I'm so frusterated now that you've pointed this out. I was thinking we could make like you, smash it into oncoming traffic, and see where we can go from there. We'll call it, "The Stephen Conversion"!!
