Well it has gotten down to this hood. They still have to make the cuts for the CC plates and a small notch of filter but everthing else clears.

 

Damn that is a big cowl. I'm glad you actually have the engine to back up that huge cowl.

 

dear god... what happened to silver stripes?

 

I took them off a while back as they were cracking. Im going to get a new paint job and Im hoping it will look good with stripes but not sure due to the hood.

I hope so . Im 6'0 so for me it wont be any issue but I think anybody that is short will have a hard time.

It may look bigger that what it is since its not fully closed but Il find out for sure next week. Good news is that I can mount some gauges under it.

I love big cowl hoods but its only ok to have em if you can back it it up with some hot nasty *** power so i think you'll be good

 

Lucky for me I have a reason to have a cowl that big. I think maybe the angle of the pic since its on a lift makes the hood look bigger. All I need to do is charge the AC and alignment, should have it in about a week. I will take pics when I have it back.

BTW Bfish I sold the other hood and have tried a Cervinis 3.5 in cowl and Suncoat Ram air hood but neither fit.

That hood is PERFECT. I think since its white and the car is black it makes it look bigger, once its painted that thing is going to be the "SHITZ". Like OO said, you got the numbers the back up that 2 story hood even if you cant see over I would drive with my head out the window.

You should be very proud of that MONSTER! I'm proud and it aint even mine.

Its a Kanean hood and I wanna say 5in but think its the 6in cowl. This is a special order hood if you notice the front starts real high. The guys runing turbos are using this hood.
