this was in Monterey, where we stayed. about 10 mins west of laguna seca. it was pretty, but surprisingly cold, it had a real east coast feel. IMO

those ducati 848's are sick... We have summit point circuit wv about 1.5 hrs from us in pa...Its cool when we ride down there we are allowed to park our bikes right in the pits with the race bikes

jseven - nah didnt get to ride any bikes. but the second i got home, i hopped on my gixxer and took a cruise.

What days were you there? I was there Saturday and Sunday. I thought for sure Stoner was going to win like he did last year. I was so happy that Rossi won.

laguna seca is my favorite american track ever. i am real jealous that you were even there, let alone for one of the greatest events too. lol

+1 to slp02gt. last time i visited a friend in Harrisburg, we went for a road trip to summit point circuit for a few days with his bikes (i rode his 03 cbrf4i and he rode his new gsxr 750)

 

I couldn't believe how fast Stoner was. I think he broke the track record like 8 times. Even though I'm a Rossi fan I was kind of bummed when Stoner went off; I think they would have had a great battle to the end.
