Sup Fellaz, well i bought a mustang and thought id join this forum to get idea's from other members and help from other members while i mod it up.

And no its not a GT so if your a V6 Flamer just click "Back" now.

Its an 02 v6 auto. I wanted a 5 speed but i got such a great deal on this car i couldn't pass it up.





Mods to do this month

This month i will for sure:
-Add Tints
-Buy new tires (Tires not rims)
-Buy a Radar Detector (Already bought waiting for it to get here)

-Buy a chin spoiler (Does anyone know if adding a chin spoiler will damage the warranty?, I have a 30 day warranty and dont want to do anything to mess up the warranty on the first 30 days)

This Month I might buy:
- Racing Seats, Not sure whether to get white seats or black seats, help me choose guys!
I found these on ebay for like $80 + 155 shipping, its a nice deal.

 

Nice looking car man, and no a chin spoiler will not void any warranties.

But seriously racing seats in a stock auto V6 Especially el cheapo crap ones from ebay. I am sure the cloth on those will last a month before they wear.

Why is it stupid to trick out an auto?, Its not like i bought it to take it to the track anyways, My last car was a 5 speed honda accord and i got really tired of shifting through traffic every morning going to work, im fine with the auto. And whats wrong with the seats on an Automatic car?, seriously, Its not like im buying the seats to make my car faster, I would want them to make the car look nicer. I personally just want to make the car look nicer and sound nicer.

 

I think it looks nice and not everyone is into speed which is fine. I would get wheels and lower it 1st. Then get the interior stuff like new stereo and seats. Just dont get wheels that belong on an import or SUV and youll be ok.

 

Thanks Venom =D , yeah I really wanna lower it and get wheels, I was thnking 18inch cobra rims or the GT ones in black. Gonna save up a paycheck and get some.

 

Good advice by venom. Too often, people make stangs ugly by giving them import ricer wheels. Just stick to bullitts, cobras, or some other mustang rims and youll be just fine. other sport wheels just dont look right

Welcome to the fourms and good luck with the new car. Everyone has to start somewhere and it looks like a very nice car. I think the 99+ V-6's are a very nice looking car for the money and I always liked the stock rims and the stripes.

 

^ now THAT is how you give a proper introduction. Not "u dumb ur car dum i tipe lik u didnt gradiate tird grade." If youre gonna insult someone's car, go to another forum.

 

I like the stripes, with new wheels it will look really nice.

 

I agree, i started with a 2002 v6, never had a mustang before that, i liked it so much 2 later years and i moved up to a gt, i think its a great lookin car,

 

No I never said tricking it out was dumb at all, I just said dont get cheapo ebay racing seats.

I think all mustangs are cool V6s included and they do look good "tricked" out, but dont make them look dumb with cheap seats, especially stock.

I like your Idea of getting seats but im with dark, if your gonna get some seats get some QUALITY seats that will last you a while
