Default A few paint mods to my Roush fascia

Long time...

So this has pretty much been driving me crazy since I got my Roush fascia a couple of years ago. I wanted the Mach grill delete kit before I smashed my stock front end but with the Roush all you can do is getting the floating pony. There is already a piece on the Roush fascia in the grill area that is raised up as if you had the Mach grill delete in there. The paint was starting to come off on the lip and in the bend so that was bugging me too. So today I did a ballsy move and painted the sucker. I went to the auto parts store to get some stuff to clean my engine and ended up with paint also. I left the first picture for now because I was going to clean the engine bay tonight but ran out of time with painting. You can see how bad it is This weekend I will be busy under there.

So here are the grill pics. I also re-painted my pony. It was chipped up from rocks (looked like it had a skin disorder) I am pleased with the outcome. Maybe this will sway some of you Roush front fascia folks on here that have wondered what it would look like.

Looks awesome slither, definately looks good. As if they should have done it from the factory.
Pony looks good in contrast to the dark paint, but I think I would prefer the original shiny finish.

LOL I can always depend on you Chris for great comments like that!

I put one very light coat on first and put several heavy ones on after that. I say I put a good 5 coats on there.

Thanks so far

Oh...and the pony was black at one point so I figured painting it the same metallic silver as the car would be different. I will have a chrome one back on there soon enough though.

looks great..i cant stand when that part is the same color as the car.

you should look into doing the bottom part of the fascia where indents are on the sides.

Some Advanced Auto Parts brand for spraying bumpers that allows it to flex on plastic.

I know I know I bought the stuff to clean the engine but ran out of time. I am doing it tomorrow morning.

I have gears that have been sitting in my garage since October that I need to put in if that counts as a mod

My car mod money has been going to house mod money
