So my buddy blew he old civic 4 door after he overboosted the sucker. parted it out and sold it and got a decent amount of money back. he has been saving for a long time for a BMW or Infinity. But of course he gets impatient and goes and buys another car

another civic..this time a 2 door hatch for 1900. as to my knowledge, it has tein coilovers, carbonfiber hood, a catless exhaust (sounds like hornets are coming out of the exhaust), and rims. He is going to be doing a b16 swap (dual over head vtec 1.6L engine) and then leaving it alone. he needs a car to get to work so this will do it for him.

i drove it today and it sounds like ***. lol. it takes corners like a champ. i was in 4th gear at about 40 miles per hour and i floored it and it didnt gain any speed. it was pitiful.

this was the ride height before we lowered it. it sits about 2 inches lower.

It's funny that you posted one up here, because I just came back from watching the fireworks. These little bumbling bees was right behind us, revving up his engine as loud as possible. I was praying too the lord himself, asking him if he could do me only one favor, and shoot down that god awful sound with one strike of a lighting bolt! It also sounded like he had nitrous in the car too, he was purging the **** out of it.

I was confused, embarrassed, and angry, for this poor soul.
Like why the **** is he doing that? It's a family event, not that those kinda events where we attract idiots by how loud we rev the **** out of our engine til the **** blows up!

Overall, the fireworks was fun, went out on the boat, listened to some good ole' classic music, being very patriotic, and saw a **** load of idiots get into fights over sumdumchic.

 

your friend couldn't wait to get a nice bmw or infinity and went & got a hatch??? WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIM?

nice civic none the less......if its vtec already, and he just wants somethin to move around in, then dont bother with the b16. if he does end up gettin the b16, dont leave it stock....

one of those tried to race me last night. pulls up next to me, and takes off. then slows down..looks at me like "wtf?" I laugh and continue the down the highly patrolled road with a 40 mph speed limit.

I really dislike civics. er..let me rephrase that. I really dislike civic owners.

 

I think there really is an illness you catch when you own a civic. Suddenly you're like, "Bowdy Kit = 1000 HPz!"
