A couple new pics
Being newb I thought I would post a couple pics of my car. It nothing really different. It's pretty much stock except hood. It's an 06 in Legend Lime. I did add the fender scripts and rear stripe. I still have the matching rocker stripes to put on which have been sitting in my closet for 2 years now. Made my decal for the fake gas cap, that's about it.

The redlines are old school, cuz well I'm old school. Guys who grew up around redlines and blue streaks are like, where did you get the redlines from? I was pulled over by a cop just to ask me where I got the redlines from, he was about the same age as me. A little emery cloth and steel wool, it'll come right off. I'll probably have em for one more year, then I'll be tired of looking at them, and I'll go to raised white or yellow.

The hood came from Mustangs Unlimited. I think it was called the SVT. It was a freebie from State Farm. The stock hood was damaged by a hail storm. The body shop did a great job matching the paint and installing the hood.

yeah, back in the rat rod days painting tires was common. Hardest part is prepping the tire. Once it's prepped, you just use acrylic paint and do your thing. If done right, you'll get a year out of it before needing touch up.

the redlines definitely work with your color. My first thought was didn't I have a Hot Wheels car that looked like that? I still see'em on Plymouth Road Runners, etc. First time I've seen'em on a newer 'stang and they really work with your color. Also like the rear stripe.
Maybe the script and tri-bar just don't go together - one or the other but not both. I got a script license plate holder for my '08. It occurred to me later that the tri-bar is probably a better match for '05 forward and script for the preceding body style. OR, maybe move the script to the rear fender like the '68 California Special?

Hmm, not sure how I feel about the rear stripe. And I know I don't like the script, but the red is very different in a good direction.
Mind giving us a close up? From the distance it looks like a green porsche emblem lol

Exactly, my skin is thick enough, 48 years thick, to take criticism. I don't take offense to anyones comments.
