Welcome to the boards. Stang looks great but the exhaust tips look strange to me. They look real small for some reason.

If you want to do a subtle free-mod, cut the foglight bars out of your bumper, it'll look much better.

Dave04Mustang- yeah i know i hate the tips there too small. 2.5 inches. im gunna be getting new tips soon. 3.5 inches probally.

Not a bad looking 6. I like the color, you don't see too many redfire's. But that is a good thing!

 

personally i LOVE that colour.....sonic blue and THAT red.....never found out what its called. what red would that be :P

 

 

Thanks appriciate it man. There Cobra R's. 17x9 and 17x10.5. I was about to get the rebels but i wanted the offset look. Bullits are too played out and since i have a set of them in 8's already i went with these instead. Havnt seen em around at all really.

 

I love the color too! It's actually not Redfire...it's Laser Red . Pretty damn similar, just a shade lighter.

Anyone know when they switched to redfire? That's one thing about mustangs I don't know. I forgot they even made a laser red. Does the laser red have the flake in it like the redfire?

not a 100% sure but im guessing Redfire was in the later years like 03-04. mines an 01. yeah its got sparkles in it. redfire is a deeper and richer red. just an updated laser red really.

Lazer red is very different, it is like a 3-step paint job. Very expensive to paint, just ask any lazer red owner with an aftermarket bumper!


BTW, your car look snice, I agree though that your pipes seem pretty small but may be just an optical illusion from the camera angle. Definitely needs to be lowered!

 

Got them from a ford aftermarket rim warehouse actually. its like an hour away from where i live in Sarasota. it's called O.E Wheel Distribution. only place where i could find them with the off set dishes on em.

 

yeah the pipes look a little smaller in the pic compared to seeing it in person but they are still small none the less. im gunna be getting bigger tips soon. i just need to get a couple prices from shops around here. might get new mufflers too, currently have some macs but i wanna get it a little louder, but not higher pitched...i know it will never sound like an 8 though.

 

looks awesome. only little thing is...yellow brake calipars...not so sure on that one...otherwise it looks sweet!
