Exclamation Post pics of 99-04 stangs with HID conversions...

I'm really craving to get some installed in my stang. Yes, I know I don't have projectors and all that bs..but I don't care. I've been becoming extremely annoyed by the fact that our stangs don't have adequate lighting at night! I have the sylvannia sylverstars and they just don't cut it anymore...

Post up fellas..

you dont need projectors to have HID's. once i fix my harness i may order a kit because the lighting sucks in germany.

im curious about this too.

and 4.6 I tried finding a picture that I had from sitting in the car drivers seat to show the difference in the brightness on the road but I couldn't find it so you just have to know that it will be brighter haha

Please get the matching fog light kit as well. When they don't match it looks bad imo.

Sorry I don't care about matching fog lights..hell I don't even turn my fog lights on and I won't spend another $100+dollars for hid fog lights!

+1 to that.. after the HID's are in the headlights you won't even know you have foglights anyway so to pay $120 just to "match" is basically just as good as taking to $120 and throwing it in the trash can. I spent $30 on some luminics pure blue bulbs. There rated at 6000K or something I believe so thats only 2000K off from the headlights and IMO looks fine to me after saving 90 bucks

it may be a waste of money to do matching fog lights. but, i love seeing other stangs with their fog lights on. it helps me spot them and i get excited.

To each their own. Different color lights looks ricer to me.

Not to metion we all basically throw money in the trash can when we modify our cars. Odds are we will never get anything in return so what's another couple hundred bucks.

If you were in college full time and only worked part time, I'm sure a couple of hundred bucks is a big deal......lmao @ the ricer comment..

The stock fog lightes don't do much in the first place, but having the cobra bumper with fogs is really nice. I would do the matching fogs, but the again I have the cobra fogs.

I was in college full time for the first year and a half that I owned my mustang. I know what it's like...thanks.

I merely was stating an opinion. Like I said...to each their own.
