Do some research, you can NOT rely on what the companys tell you thier mods will make, you need to have it on a Dyno.

So that Intake that promises 15hp really gives you 3-4hp, the Plenum/tb gives you 6-7 maybe, the tune might give you another 6-7...

lets put it this way, a full bolt on gt with intake, tb/p, pullies, full exhaust including long tube headers, great tune and a cam swap might dyno around 300hp at the wheels...



you remind me of the guy at the bar a couple weeks back that was telling me his stage 1 roush had a 4v v8 and once he gets his procharger with 8lb boost he will be pushing 650hp.

Dude, if your dyno really did show 337hp at the wheels, i would definatly look to get a dyno at other placed. 237 really does sound about right. I have heared of some that give big numbers to make thier customers happy, so i would definatly go to another dyno place, preferrable a place ran by muscle car fans and i would stay away from the rice joints.

but lets put it this way.


There is absolutly no way in HELL you would be hitting those numbers with a GT with a few boltons unless yer on the spray. If you have NOT dyno'ed it and are just claiming this, everyone on any mustang forum board in the planet will laugh you right out the Door. IF you have a dyno sheet that says that, either you got the wrong dyno sheet, or the place you got the dyno was blowing smoke up your *** because those numbers are NOT POSSIBLE with the mods you have listed.

This car indeed has been dyno tested at Paul Gentillozi's shop here in town, and has won a few/lost a few races. 337 RWHP is true enough. Come on up to the hood and see and drive if you like. Really. Contact by email for directions.

lol.. nobody is doubting that 337 is possible, but it takes a lot more than exhaust and intake, and sorry, exhaust will not give you an additional 40whp, not unless yer already blown.

uh red - I have been in the mustang hobby for 20yrs so I am pretty well informed on what these parts and the power they add to setups from first carb'd 5.0's to the new 3v's.
