Just bought this set of hood decals, a little different than what I was going to get.

 

I'm not too fond of hood decals myself...

 

This is the first time I have ever bought hood decals for a Mustang. This is my 4th Stang and figured the black will look great with the yellow.

 

does not look to bad but i would of done the whole car not just the hood.

 

Whew. For a moment there i thought that was your car. That Black Widow **** is disgusting

 

+1. I think the stripes will look fine.

 

Got these today, can't wait to get them on my car I will post pics as soon as they are done. On a second note my personalized tags finally came in as well. Got them today and am pleased with them.

i like those stripes bro...they should look pretty good...post up some pics when you get them on.

 

I wish someone would come up with a sticker/stripe package for 99-04's that had the same pinstripe as above but covered the whole raised portion of the hood and scoop.(think Mach 1/Boss 302 style)

 

I know of several 99-04's that have there hoods painted like such.

That's nice, but it's paint, I meant vinyl.... I like the way it looks and I think if the guy/gal in the pic put rocker panel stripes and blacked out the top of the trunk on it, it would finish it off rather nicely.

edit: and make it flat black, not gloss, or use at least a 50/50 flattener in the clear coat...

what do you mean by flush? As for it looking good, as long as you have some sort of black accent(rear bumper letters, possible black rims in the future, smoked headlights, etc.) then yes i think it will look just right

 

Flush means that its even and matches. another way of saying it would be, does it line up w/ everything like it was supposed to be there

what happened to the pics of the stripes? wanted to see how it turned out
