SO some of you know i couldnt pass smog with my old intake so I bought a new one and here it is.

yeah the motor needs a good wipe down! The intake looks almost TOO clean for the motor...lol

lol looks like i was beaten to the punch. a little engine cleaner would do you wonders.

I never can get around to cleaning it. If i bought the car new it would have been easier to keep up but the last guy did a bad job and didnt care but it was cheap buy

how long did it take you to install and did you feel any gains?

its said it would take 30 min but NO.
it took me 1 1/2 to 2 hrs . The Directions were horrible!!!!! But i had installed other intakes b4 so i went with that to help it along they gave you wrong pics as you went if i didnt know what some of the parts were i would have been hard. But its not that hard if you have done it b4 and know small stuff.
I didnt feel any gains b/c i already had an intake i just swapped in a new one.

just run to autozone, get some engine degreaser, spray it on, let it sit for like 20 minutes, and wash it off. doesnt take that long

get this stuff called gunk it works great it only takes 10 to 15 minutes i think you can get it at autozone.

hell buy some SimpleGreen ( just cover up your black coil pack on the side ) and then hose it off, the crap stinks but works!
