im lookin to get the midlength headers from bassani there in between shorties and longtubes i called the company the guy said that they will not fit auto. why will they not fit an automatic? or is it just like they say they wont but they really do fit? thnks

 

You'll have to customize the fitment a bit. Last time I installed a set of mids it was on a cobra and each tube had to be welded onto the flange after fitting so we had all the room we needed since we had to fit each pipe to the collector.

I'd weld a heat shield around the collector. keep it from basting your tranny with excess heat.

 

They dont fit around the auto because the auto is wider then the manual tranny.
