Not long, just followed what was said in the other thread, 2 pics from the same angle on a tripod, 1 with hood closed 1 with hood open. go into Photoshop and make 2 layers, the one on bottom containing the pic with the engine showing, and the one with the hood closed on top, then just delete the top layer to expose the engine through the hood using several different opacities for the eraser brush to make it smooth out the edges..

Hope that makes sense

Yeah, I'm okay at photoshop, nothing spectacular, I just dabble a little.

I can try and make you a sig if you want, today's a boring day.

It would have been alot easier if you just used the feather ability while deleting the hood layer.
