I received my single exit SpinTech exhaust late last week and decided to head to Bowling Green, KY on Saturday to use a friends garage and lift. Got the stock exhaust cut off with no issues and fit the new can on with no problems as well.

Then it got fun.. turns out that SpinTech forgot to include a needed neccessary hanger for hanging the side exit pipe and on top of that, the fit from the side pipe to the outflow was loose as a goose and wasn't going to be tight enough for my comfort with the supplied crappy U-bolt clamp.

I ended up having to stay the w/e and take a day off work to get the job finished this morning at the local Midas shop. BTW... 31-W midas, ask for Rick. He is a stand up guy and a mustang enthusiast to boot! He did very good work and was very careful with my car. I highly reccomend him if you ever need any exhaust work in Bowling Green.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the SpinTech sound and flow. Combined with the K/N FIPKII I put in last week, I could definately tell an improvment on the interstate when passing at 70mph.

also, side exhaust is supposed to lose you ponies... or atleast compared to a stadard dualie...
grimmz has dual side exhaust... havent seen him in few weeks round here...

 

Actaully it was about double the price, and all I really wanted was better flow and eliminating that horrid piece of rust protruding from the back of my car.
