A B-1 bomber like that one broke the sonic boom at a beach airshow over here a few years ago, it's very awesome in person.

I think they cut that first video short, there was a vid of an F-14 doing a flybye like that and it exploded after it passed the ship.

and the 2nd video, that's what our beach airshow is like...but with 4 f18s.

That takes some helluva timing to capture that picture.

have you ever gone that quick... I'm trying to figure what thats like... does everything go silent or nifty like that?

and I aint sure... but the cause of the boom related to the air pressure waves that planes create?

 

oh yeh... And when I hit that pole it made one hell of a sonic boom

 

i fly a little 172 right now. but my dad flew the b-1, b-52, and B-2. i dont think it feels like anything. when a pilot flies upside down, he cant even notice hes not right side up. we had a b-1 overseas doin a night flight, and they lost all instruments and they were flyin over water. it was so dark that they couldnt see the horizon. so they punched out. and now we have a Bone in the bottom of the indain ocean(im pretty sure thats where they were flyin over)

A sonic boom occurs when you reach the speed of sound, and break through the sound barrier.........for the scientific stuff - i'll link you to wiki..all I know is that it has to do with pressurization

you fly a 172? i thought you were a pilot in the air force or something... my buddy is a flight instructor on 172's right now. he'll be a pilot at a regional airline in the next month or so.
