Great choice! I was debating on taking my mustang for a re-tune at Kauffmans. How was your experience there?

I will get LT's done I think next year when I port the heads and get blower cams.

My experience at Kauffmans was very good. They did a great job....a bit pricey, but probably in line with a typical speed shop. I need to get my tune adjusted slightly to help with the fuel pump voltage tables.

Dave will do a great job with your tune if you can get in to see him.

Why, are they that busy? I was debating between them and Steen Racing in Norfolk, VA.

They were swamped when I was there! But, you need to understand the entire story. I took my car down one week to have my blower installed, but my motor was shot. This then put me back a few weeks and they were booked, so they were kind enough to squeeze me in.

My invoice for the motor swap and blower install was a bit higher then anticipated due to all the incidentals etc...., but that's life. They did a great job!

Dave's tuning charges are very reasonable from what I can tell. I think he is in line with all the better tuners. Fact is, a good tuner will get you in and out faster too.

I need my tune adjusted because of a bog issue I have between gears when under heavy load due to the returnless fuel system. I live 2 hours from the shop, so it is not easy. I need to call them this week and see if I can get scheduled. PLUS, I have some parts to pick up.
